Top 5...Cha Cha's Fav Christmas Tunes

After those Thanksgiving leftovers are gone and the tree is up, I am game for some holiday tunes. I mean, not ALL holiday tunes (sorry Wham lovers). Nothing puts me in the spirit more than hearing Christmas music. It's so nostalgic and happy. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. Here are my Top 5 Christmas tunes (but trust me, my list is massive)...


  • White Christmas by Bing Crosby (my fav Christmas song AND my favorite Christmas movie). It's just soooo....Christmas-y. The film makes me cry and it's a must do every Christmas Eve for me. I mean, I even have White Christmas pajamas (let me live my life). His voice...the lyrics...the sentiment...sigh....perfection. I"m super excited to take my mamma to see White Christmas this month at Papermill Playhouse!

  • Vince Guaraldi Trio "Christmas Time Is Here" (vocal version from A Charlie Brown Christmas). As a kid, Christmas wasn't Christmas without watching Charlie Brown's Christmas Special. And I still need to watch it. Classic. And the theme song is just so peaceful and sweet.

  • Jingle Bells by Frank Sinatra. What kind of Italian girl would I be without a little Frankie? This song is just fun. And it's Frank. Legend.

  • Frosty the Snowman by Harry Connick. Your girl Cha Cha has been lovin on Harry Connick since a freshman in HS. I've seen Harry perform this live so many times (including at a small church in the Bronx where he used to play organ before he was famous - it was an AOL Sessions event and a few invites went out to fan club members). It's just a really fun version that will get you dancing.

  • Christmas Cookie Song by Lisa Loeb. Well, can't find a video for this, but it's on Amazon music! This cute, catchy song even has a little movie about it. My daughter and I love it and we always play it as we make a few hundred Christmas cookies (yes, a few hundred) since she was little. It's "our" song.


I legit could go on and on and on. I love soooo many Christmas tunes but these five just give me the Christmas vibes the most. What's your top 5?

1.🎄 The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping

Because who doesn't love a happy Christmas ending, right?

2. 🧑‍🎄 Jose Feliciano - Feliz Navidad So upbeat and festive AND you learn to sing in Spanish!

3. 🎄Mele Kalikimaka -Any version, but preferably Bing Crosby. Every year I dream of spending Christmas in Hawaii and singing this!! And again, you get to learn a native language!

4.🧑‍🎄 The entire Carpenters Christmas Portrait album - Their voices are angelic and so peaceful!! Great decorating the tree with a glass of wine!

5. 🎄 Happy Holidays/The Holiday Season - Andy Williams

Christmas nostalgia at its finest. Brings me back to my 8 year old self! My grandma loved him and…
