Saying goodbye to November and the cool autumn breezes....
Sorry we've been MIA! Cha Cha took a fall down the stairs and Jtweets came to the rescue and brought her to the ER. Turned out to be a sprained ankle. But the time we spent in the ER was supposed to be cutting some vids for you pretty people.
The last week of November had Cha Cha and Jtweets at quite a few shows. Here's our round up....
Illegally Blind 10-Year Anniversary Show at the Stone Pony
We caught Illegally Blind earlier this fall at the post-show for yacht rock and love love loved them. Playing classic hits from the 70s and 80s with a female lead, these cats can scratch. We heard a mix of Journey, Whitesnake, The Who, Pink Floyd and so much more. I so want to hear them cover Janis. The lead singer has that powerful, raspy voice that can pull it off. As for the rest of the band, you can tell they are well-seasoned musicians who've been doing this way beyond the 10 years this band has been together. Catch them on 12/14 at the Pony opening up for The Nerds!
Special shout out to opening band, Johnny Fish and The Fins. Whoa - we had never seen them before and they are equally as talented playing tons of classic rock with another amazing female lead AND a male lead. We can't wait to catch both of these bands again!
Super Trans Am at The Stone Pony
The boys are back...playing to a SOLD OUT crowd at the Pony. We can't say enough how much we love STA. And it's not just us. Playing our favorite rock hits from the 70s with some of their tried-and-true covers with a few new songs thrown in. Of course, with all the hoopla as well - videos, costumes and Frankenstein. We will catch them again next March at The Vogel WITH AN INTERVIEW....whewwwww!
Another shout out to a great opening cover band! Stretch and the Armstrongs brought it to the stage that night playing a mix of great rock songs. We will be sure to catch one of their shows soon.
Be sure to check out our Facebook and Instagram for pics and videos. Until next time kids.....keep rockin and rollin'.
